Your new roof helps save
the ocean and climate.

For every roof that we install, we give a percentage of our profits to OnlyOne Inc., a registered 501(c)3 non-profit in the United States on a mission to stop carbon pollution from choking our oceans and climate.

Every roof we install for a homeowner contributes the following on average:

240 mangrove trees planted for every roof we install
24 corals planted for every roof we install
79lbs of plastic removed from the ocean for every roof we install
3.6 tonnes of carbon reduced for every roof that we install
Diver in ocean planting corals and man planting mangrove trees

Sustainable Roof Options

Within your roofing options, you'll have a choice to select a roof system that not only performs, but is purpose built with sustainability in mind. All Malarkey shingles incorporate upcycled tires and plastic to reduce landfill waste, and integrate smog-reducing granules that help actively clean the air of emission pollutants.

Consciously limiting our operational footprint

In addition to the above, we do all that we can to make micro improvements in our operation to limit our footprint. Here are just some of the ways we do that.

Recycling roofing material

Instead of discarding old roofing material in the landfill when installing a new roof system, we choose to take all non usable materials to a local recycling facility that converts the majority of waste into asphalt that can be used to pave roads and parking lots.

Measuring remotely

Not only does the ability to remotely measure a residential roof allow us to provide instant pricing to homeowners, but it also helps us to limit our travel emissions, and keep our team safer by staying off the roof until required.

Electric toolset

Many roofing companies use portable gasoline generators to provide power to their toolset during installation. But just operating in this way for 1 hour emits as much smog-forming pollution as driving an average vehicle for about 150 miles. - To combat this, our toolset is all electric.
